El músico y productor alemán Sascha Ring, mejor conocido como Apparat, estrenó sorpresivamente la canción “A Violent Sky” la cual aparecerá en “Krieg und Frieden (Music for Theatre)”, un álbum basado en la producción teatral Tolstoy’s War & Peace de Sebastian Hartmann. 

Sebastian Hartmann es considerado uno de los más grandes innovadores del teatro alemán contemporáneo, quien solicitó personalmente la participación de Sascha Ring en este proyecto, el cual fue comisionado por el reconocido festival de artes alemanas Ruhrfestspiele de Recklinghausen.

“Krieg und Frieden (Music for Theatre)” de Apparat saldrá el próximo 15 de febrero a través del sello inglés MUTE.

Este es uno de mis álbumes favoritos del 2011 “The Devil’s Walk” del músico electrónico alemán Apparat (Sascha Ring) editado en el sello Mute. 

“The Devil’s Walk” tuvo orígen en el pueblo de Sayulita, cerca de Puerto Vallarta en Guadalajara, México, con la ayuda de Alfredo Nogueira, Joshua Eustis de Telefon Tel Aviv, Jörg Wähner y Carsten Aermes.

Este set con clips de las canciones del álbum es publicado directamente por Sascha Ring y es altamente recomendable.

El festival internacional de creatividad digital y música electrónica MUTEK_MX presentará el estreno de “The Devil’s Walk” en México con Apparat Band en Marzo en el Teatro de la Ciudad dentro del evento MACRO02.
